RAINWATER HARVESTING and the Code for Sustainable Homes
How do Rainwater Harvesting Systems Contribute?
With any RainRetain system, up to 50% of the mains water consumption previously used in the home, can be safely replaced by using recycled rainwater without any inconvenience. Applications include toilet flushing, closthes washing, general cleaning, car washing and garden irrigation.
RainRetain systems are designed to have 21 days water storage capacity, reducing mains water consulmption in the home to less than 80 litres per day which, according to Code standards, reach the minimum Code level 6 star rating (the best) within the Code's water efficiency category.
When choosing RainRetain you can be assured of installing one of the highest quality systems on the market today whilst contributing to a zero carbon home.
